Yes — that's specifically why we built it. ParkingPinDrop caches your GPS location at the garage entrance and uses a combination of your last known position, compass heading, and step count to navigate you back even when you have zero signal underground.

Google Maps doesn't track floors, doesn't remember your zone or section, doesn't let you add photo notes of the parking sign, and doesn't work without signal. We're built specifically for the multi-level garage problem — not as a general maps tool.

The free version is fully functional. You get unlimited pin drops, floor tracking, navigation back to your car, timer, and photo notes. Pro adds history beyond 7 days, pin sharing, sync, and Watch app. We don't believe in fake free tiers.

No. GPS is only active while you're actively using the app. Once you've dropped your pin, GPS turns off completely. The timer runs in the background but uses almost no battery. We've been obsessive about this.
